clipp.art is back with a series of bi-monthly(-ish) events in 2026! Launching with Tessellate imprint music maestro THE TRIP at Melbourne dance institute Glamorama for an essential late summer Day Party. Nobody knows where this journey will take us but one thing is guaranteed - SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD TIME!

The Trip is a DJ and production project by Max van Dijk and Oliver Hiam, who are the founders of the long-established party and label Tessellate. After a decade of hosting events and DJing at Corsica Studios, the duo began releasing music under the name “The Trip” in 2020. 

The Trip’s sound is inspired by unforgettable moments on the dancefloor, and draws on UKG, progressive, tech house, and house elements from the '90s onward - weaved into a distinctive, sample-heavy style. The Trip is joined on the day by local hep cats and clipp.art alum DJ LONER, Jooki and Alec Alder. Strap in!!
